Inspired by the gorgeous bluebells in Westonbirt Arboretum near Bath. A fav spot!
The first stage of this piece was to create a black and white forest using a base layer of black, grey and white gesso. I added a glaze of different shades of oil paint to create the bluebells and the dazzling sunlight.
